Probably the best chicken rice you'll ever taste. It is really good and it's one of those dishes where you'll have another serving for sure because one serving is just not enough.
What will you need?
- 1 diced onion
- 1 diced onion
- olive oil
- 3 bayleaves
- 6 chicken parts
- 50ml white wine
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 250g rice
- sal
- pepper
- water
In a pan, start by frying the onion until it gets transparent, alongside with the bayleaves. Add the chicken, piece by piece and let it fry until it gets a golden crust. Be careful not to burn the onion. After you fry all the chicken, add the wine and add water until the chicken is covered with it. At this moment add a chicken stock cube and salt and pepper to taste. Let it boil and add the rice. Reduce the heat to the minimum, put the lid on and let it cook for 15 minutes. Don't let the rice absorb all the water cause you want some of it at the end. Serve it simple or with some chorizo slices.
